Submit theme

When you submit a theme to the Shoplazza Theme Store, Shoplazza’s theme review team reviews your theme to make sure that it meets our Theme Store requirements. If your theme meets our requirements, then it's considered for approval.

If your theme is missing any of the requirements in the list, then your submission will be rejected and you will need to make further changes to your theme before it can be resubmitted.

If your theme requires major changes that prevent us from reviewing it, then you receive an email with the required changes. After you make the required changes to your theme, you can re-submit the updated version through your Partner Dashboard.

To reduce your chance of rejection, you should test your theme thoroughly. We've outlined some common reasons why themes are rejected during the review process. Review this list so that you can avoid these issues in your own submission.

Submit your theme for review

  1. Log in to your Partner Dashboard.
  2. In the sidebar navigation, click Themes.
  3. Click Submit a theme.
  4. Add your theme ZIP file.
  5. Select the check box to acknowledge that you have read and that you agree to the Shoplazza Partner Agreement.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. On the Theme listing details page, enter the listing information for your theme on the Shoplazza Theme Store. Learn more about the Theme Listing page.
  8. Click Submit.

What to expect from Shoplazza when you submit your theme

After you submit your theme for review, Shoplazza’s theme review team tests your theme to ensure that it meets Shoplazza’s Theme Store requirements before your theme can be approved.

If your theme submission doesn't meet our requirements, then your theme is rejected and you're notified by email with the required changes.



If you resubmit your theme without addressing the reasons why it was rejected, then you could be temporarily suspended from submitting themes to the Shoplazza Theme Store.

After the theme review team has fully reviewed your theme and ensured that it meets all of Shoplazza’s requirements, you can list your theme on the Shoplazza Theme Store.



When a theme is submitted for review, we expect that the theme has been built following our requirements and has been fully tested for issues and bugs.

Contact throughout the review process

During the review process, we contact you at the email that you specified when you completed your theme listing. To ensure that you receive our emails, add [email protected] and [email protected] to your allowed sender list in your email service provider’s settings.
