Manage private app

The Theme Access app allows you to securely create and manage tokens that developers need to use with Theme Kit. This guide explains how to install the Theme Access app, and then share credentials with developers.

Only store owners can create, and view the Theme Access app.

How the Theme Access app works

After you install the Theme Access app on your store, you can create tokens to share with developers that would like to access your themes. The app generates tokens that are scoped to grant developers.

After a developer receives a link to the token, in order to connect to your store and begin making changes to themes, they can supply the token in the following ways:

Create a token

To grant a developer access to Theme Kit, you can create a token.

1. Go to the Apps page on the Shoplazza store admin.
2. Click Manage private apps > Create App.
3. Enter the contact details and select permissions for the developer that is working on your theme and click Save.

After the app is created, you can view and use it from the Apps page in your Shoplazza admin.
