List versions of a theme file

/openapi/2026-01/themes/:theme_id/doc/versions

Returns the version history for a single theme file.

Path Parameters

theme_id stringrequired

Theme's unique identifier

Query Parameters

type string

The type of file to list versions for: layout, templates, sections, snippets, assets, config, locales (blocks is not supported here). Defaults to layout

location string

The location of the file within the theme. Defaults to theme.liquid
