# Update market domain

**PUT** `/openapi/2026-01/markets/:id/domain`

Change a market's domain mode (primary domain or sub-path).

  Domain mode. Allowed values:

  *   `primary`: use a primary (independent) domain
  *   `sub_path`: use a sub-path suffix under the primary domain For a non-primary market, switching domain\_type deletes all existing language configurations of this market and re-copies them from the primary market.
- `domain_value` string

  Domain value. Maximum 255 characters; letters, digits and underscore only. Required when domain\_type is sub\_path. The sub-path must not clash with a language code abbreviation (e.g., ca)
